Your pinion angle is fine i'm sure. I would swap the stock arms back on for a test drive if you really want to know what's causing the sound. The aftermarket arms could be transmitting a noise that was always there (like the drive shaft spinning), you just couldn't here it before.

another ?, could it be the rear-end it out of alignment now with the adjustable panhard bar? wouldnt seem so, since the wheelbase is correct, and its centered, but its a thought. about the only one im having now...

Edit: I screwed up in this post, assuming the OP had a 1-pc driveshaft.

Post deleted to reduce confusion.

Did I miss where he said he had a 1pc driveshaft or was I just supposed to know?

I'm willing to bet it's the pinion angle.

When you have a 1-pc driveshaft the angle will be quite different from stock. The measuring technique is also different.

With a 1-pc shaft you want to set the pinion flange so that it is paralell to the transmission output flange.

Nope, my mistake! I could have sworn he said he had a 1-pc shaft in one of the earlier posts.

Sorry about the confusion, I'll edit my earlier post.

I wasn't being sarcastic by the way, I actually thought you knew from a previous post.

I am going to bet that the noise is something that is found in all the new mustangs, but is only noticed once the poly bushed trailing arms are installed.
The cushy rubber bushings do an excellent job of dampening noise, but they do a terrible job of keeping the rear planted.

I am a bettin man and say that if you put the stock arms in your noise will go away.

I am getting the same problem..( kind of..?? ) all stock as far as traction..

I get a whirling noise/whine when turning ONLY left ( like taking a left hand turn that you DON'T stop at ) anybody have that...???? kind of like a wheel bearing .. but doesn't sound like a wheel bearing ( I know the noise of a bad wheel bearing )
no leakage on the rims.. tires OK.. auto trans... car only has 1,700 miles on it...!!!

Thanks in advance.. now back to Andys06GT's post.. I don't want to hijack HIS thread...!!!!

I don't hear anything with your poly/poly LCA's, maybe i'm not listening hard enough.
