Throw Out Bearing - Warranty Item?

Throw Out Bearing - Warranty Item?
Will the dealer warranty a shot throw out bearing? I am assuming there is a problem with the TOB as the clutch release feels very coarse, when hot or after alot of around town driving, the clutch just feels awful. Low speeds in first and second grinds when the clutch is out.
I bought this car used, and I was expecting to have to do the clutch. The guy I bought the car from "taught his girlfriend standard" on it.
