Default RE: who does email tunes with the predator

ORIGINAL: Vidgomd

so how do i check what version i have?
Plug the Predator into your car's OBD II port. It will automatically proceed to the final screen that has "Predator Tunes" and "Options". The version will be at the top of that screen. It will have the form v.8rxx (where xx are the numbers for your version, e.g., either 12, 21, 26, 28, etc.).

If that screen also shows "Custom Tunes", then click on it. If the next screen shows C&L tunes, e.g., "C&L MAF 91", "C&L MAF", then these tunes are custom designed to work with your C&L intake. BTW, "C&L MAF 91" is the 91 octane tune, and "C&L MAF" is the 93 octane tune.

Also, if it displays "C&L" before getting to the above final screen, then you can update to revision "CL7140 Predator R26" that's shown on DiabloSport's home page(assuming that revision v.8r26 is not already loaded).

But if it does not display "C&L" before getting to the above final screen, then do not update with "CL7140 Predator R26", or you will mess up your Predator.
You must update with "U7140 Stang 05-8r28" by clicking on Downloads/Predator at DiabloSport's site. However, if any C&L custom tunes are installed in your Predator, then do not update to the latest revision, or the C&L custom tunes may get deleted, and they are no longer available for D/L.
