Comparing tuners?

Comparing tuners?
Well, I always want to update everyone on my progress, even though it's very slow.
This is a continuation of "Brenspeed vs Evolution"
Tonight the temperatures were fantastic, mid-high 40s. Traction was an issue in my first run, and it was an embarrassing time... Only because I shifted while spinning, and once the tires eventually grabbed the RPMS dropped drastically due to the speed/gear I was in. Then instead of downshifting to a lower gear I remained in that gear and finished it off.
The times are so close, and the driving style is so similar that it shows Evolution slightly better, but it's such a small difference that it's not much of a difference at all. Could have meant I shifted early or later on one shift and not the other. I'm not a machine, so not every run is going to be exactly the same. Anyway, here are the times.
Evolution:
60' 2.051
1/4 13.455
mph 104.18
Brenspeed:
60' 2.078
1/4 13.490
mph 103.78
These are both 93 Octane tunes with the C&L Intake. I managed a 13.2 @ 106 with Brenspeed's tune, but that was also with an O/R H-pipe that is no longer on, replaced with the stock catted H-pipe. Which only shows that removing the cats gave me 2-3 mph & .200 off the 1/4. Not bad for $200.
For those that want the full detailed breakdown of both times, here it goes.
Evolution:
60' 2.051
330' 5.707
1/8 8.722
mph 81.85
1000' 11.292
1/4 13.455
mph 104.18
Brenspeed:
60' 2.078
330' 5.746
1/8 8.758
mph 81.92
1000' 11.328
1/4 13.490
mph 103.78
Could I manage better then a 13.4 with what I have? Probably, but I guess I just need to learn how to break a 2.0 on stock tires. I do have Steeda Chrome Moly LCAs and I had the tire pressures at 25 rear/40 front. My previous run of 13.2 didn't include the Chrome Moly LCAs, and I didn't add any pressure to the front. So I'm not sure how much they helped.
Just a little info for those to ponder on, feel free to leave messages or ask questions. Hope I covered all aspects. This is just a comparison, I'm not bashing or announcing a winner. More or less the tunes got me to the same place, so whichever tuner you prefer can get you there, I don't think there is much of a difference. When you have guys working round the clock on these cars to squeeze enough power out of them and remain safe, then you're eventually going to get the same results. When you start cracking into the engine, and testing different parts... I think that's really where the challenge will be, to determine who is a better tuner.
Goodnight all,
Menace.
