Default Poll... Superchargers

Which supercharger is the best bang for the buck? I have seen the magnacharger, intercooled w/injectors and the whole nine yrds for $4800. The KB intercooled is $1000 more, saleen is $5100, intercooled but I believe you have to use your stock air box, injectors etc. And finally the whipple intercooled is way more expensive. What do you supercharged guys think?

Only you will be able to answer that question because only you know what you want as far as power, where the power comes in, what you want your car to do, and what you are going to do with your car. All of those factors will be key in deciding what is the best bang for YOUR dollar.

Anything you get here is going to be exactly like the countless other "which is best" threads. It will be people flag waving for whatever they own.

+1 All superchargers are not created equal. You really need to decide what direction you are going with your car before you can choose a blower. Because I can tell you that as soon as you do, you are gonna be able to scratch off a few of the choices right off the bat.

FWIW, I would eliminate all non-intercooled choices right now.

I think you should go to the place you are going to get the install and tune done at and poll them which one THEY think is the best and buy that one regardless of price

I have to agree with what everyone has said so far.....every s/c is different and you have to figure out what you are looking to achieve with your car. Before you go and drop all that $$$, do the research, and make you sure understand what you will be stuck with. I think alot of people rush into things without doing the research and then are very disappointed and knock the manufacturer or installer because they expected something totally different.

good luck with one of your biggest $$$ decisions, make it count!

Ok, I don't really like centrifugals, and I want what everyone else wants, More power. I know they all make good power but I figured I would ask those who actually have them since they should know. I don't really like taking the advertisers word for it because we all know there are stupid products out there who Claim to make lots of power and don't. I will be installing it myself so I don't really have anyone to ask other than my fellow mustang brethren. Basicly I just wanted to know if paying the extra cash is worth it or should I by the cheaper kit and spend the rest of my cash on other mods.
