Vortech S/C with Intercooler, 4,200.

But can't are stangs get ~400 HP with full Bolt ons and some Comp cams?????

I guess its all in what you want. But for what its worth........I made 460hp on only 4psi with the Saleen s/c. 420hp on roughly 9psi is not that impressive. I know the KB, Whipple, and Saleen units are putting out more rwhp on 9 psi than this kit is claiming in crank hp.
Then again, I've heard mixed reviews of Vortech's S trim kit.

I personally think VC has a good kit for the V6 but as for the V8, I'd just save up a lil more and get the base Saleen kit for about 5K. Positive displacement is just so much sexier, to me if you want all those F'n tubes in your engine bay just get the PH turbo kit.

I think $4,200.00 is a great price, I'm seriously considering it after income tax time next year. I'll do the install myself and have a grand left over for LT's and a dyno tune and I'm sure it'll make over 425 rwhp after that. I've heard that the stock engine shouldn't be pushed past 425-450 rwhp, something about the con rod bolts....btw I think centrifugal S/Cs are way cooler sounding and better at high rpm power making(which is where I think all the fun is).

I really love superchargers... especially the ones like the KB... if i had the chance i'll install a 2.6L KB as fast as possible ... but for some reason ... I love the N/A mustang more ... i think with lots loads **** of mods i can get around 400 rwhp ... WAIT WAIT... stop flaming.. its just a guess.. and by **** loads i mean somethings like (bigger pistons,better crank,reacing head,better valves+V.springs,cams.... etc ) do you think it might happen ?

Brent got a stang up to +400 Crank HP with a CAI, Tune, UDP's, Cams, and a T-body.
