Anyone else had problems with the roll pins shearing off of the shifter rail for 1st&2nd? This is twice I have had to replace the roll pins that hold the shifter fork to the shift rail because they were sheared off.

First I've heard of it and it's happened to you twice? What mods do you have and what are your driving habits (track, daily, hard, etc...)?

I havent heard of that problem yet. I know of two local guys that blew out their tranny while messing up the shift to third at the track, but I do not specifically know what happened to the trans.

I messed up my tranny trying to shift into 3rd when I first got my car. (3 months ago) It went into 1st at 70. I realized it right away and put the clutch back in before the rpm could get near the rev limiter. My car has not been the same since. It rumbles and virbates when its cold. The drive train just noisier in general. It's not as fast either. When its gets hot it really bogs at low rpms and just has no guts what so ever. It runs perfect only in moderate temperature conditions. I've been to the dealer 4 times and they wouldnt do anything because it would never act up for them. Thankfully they finally agreed to take it for a few days to put it through the ringer. Anyway its been an absolute nightmare. Good luck with your problem.

I have a 5 speed tranny from a gt for sale if you guys are interested. It is in perfect conditions PM if interested. I switched to an AOD transmission.
