Dude, I know it sucks and I know the pain, but take a breath and think of it this way: Be thankful. Her leaving now saves you from coming to grips with the fact that she almost owned half your Mustang (depending on which state you live in, YMMV).
The $6000 will make you a hell of a lot happier in your car than it would have handing it over to a divorce lawyer.

Ya'll are crazy paying 6k for a ring. I payed 1,2k and think it's quite a lot of money myself... If your lady doesn't want anything less than a 6k ring it is time to give her an education on how many people work 4-6 months for that money...

if you have to work 6months to make 6k, then you should not own an 05+ gt, let alone be spending money on crazy mods like a SCer..
as is I have seen to many people spend money they don't have on modding there cars. When I was in college I was guilty of it, but I'm talking about guys with a family to support.
Just remember that when you throw money into your car its not an investment, its like spending money on a vacaction, you have a good time but that is all you get out of it.
