Default Something is up with my tuner.

I think my stock tune may have been overwritten? Is that possible. I dont know but when I flashed it back to stock today I swear it is faster than the tune I was running before. Im going to drive on it for a day or two and then flash it back to see if theres really something up.

But in the process of flashing/reflashing can your stock tune be overwritten if you do something wrong? Or does it know whats what somehow.

Default RE: Something is up with my tuner.

Here's my thought:

Whenever you reload a tune (or disconect the battery) this resets the "learning" your ECU does. This doesn't affect the timing/fueling tables, but it does affect the drive-by-wire throttle.

So what you're comparing is the "learned" new tune versus an "unlearned" OEM tune.

The lack of the "learning" function is probably making the throttle less laggy when you reloaded the OEM tune.

Reload the "new tune" and I'll bet it will seem faster yet.
