Default torque limiter rattle

For those that have installed the K-Member brace & torque limiters have you noticed a rattle? I notice at stop lights holding in the clutch or off the clutch in neutral. I also notice is especially when turning off the car. The trans rattles as the engine shuts down.

I assume this is because the torque limiters are fighting the torqueing of the transmission and I'm hearing rattling related to something now being held in place instead of being allowed to move.

Does it feel different when you start the engine. I just installed the Prothane bullet engine mounts and you can feel the engine torque over when you start it. It's not excessive, and not a problem, but I was wondering if the torque limiters create the same effect. I bought both the torque limiters and the engine mounts, installed the engine mounts first, and am very happy with them, no excessive vibrations, so I won't be installing the torque limiters as I feel I don't need both. I may install the brace without the the limiters though.

Mine is definately a rattle, though hardly noticable. I shakes more, which I totally expected, just not the rattle. I've jacked it and checked all bolts...everything is tight. I'll have to jack it and run the engine to try to find it. Wasn't there before the install. Remember when cars used to diesel after many years and being carboned up when you turned them off. That's what is sounds kind of like. It's not the engine. It's coming right from the trans.

I dunno.I would think the only variables really are how tight the bushings are nutted down, and a possible tension(pull/push) can possibly be placed on the torque limiters, thus the tranny.I'm just throwin ideas, since i know mine does'nt do that diesel thing.

I definately have no rattles. I feel more vibration through the floor, but no rattles.

Something must be loose. Check and make sure the lock nuts on the adjusters didn't come loose.

How tight did you tighten the bellhousing bolts?

When a shut my car off I hear a faint rattle ever once in a while. I think I had it before the limiters though.

No rattles on mine at all. Just a tad more floorboard vibration at an 80 mph cruise.
