You are such a giver, not me buddy!

ORIGINAL: BoidMorphs

Those cars will not only fly down the strip but out of the showrooms as well! I'm not crazy about the scoop either and doubt it will really look like that but I'm still putting aside some money for a Challenger. My daughter's getting my current GT when she graduates college. By the time the Challenger comes around I'll have time to burn a few years on it and give it to my son for his graduation present. If they don't graduate then all bets are off.

They are going to make a SRT-8 model with the 6.1 425 hp motor. And a 510 hp 6.4 ( 392 Hemi ) maybe later.

That's ok, you don't have to. I'm sure plenty didn't like the 1970's challengers, but as far as bringing back a classic muscle car and keeping the retro look goes, they have risen above the mustang and definately the camaro with it's butt ugly front grill. They were probably trying to compensate for the charger.

I might even consider working harder so I can keep the mustang and own one of these.

Meh, don't really like the looks of the Challenger...

I def like the look of the new challanger but i can tell you one big reason why mustang been around longer then any other...PRICE!!!!!!!! the mustang is one of the few cars you can buy today w/ 300hp for mid 20's. Sure are 300hp GT going to start falling short w/ the new "HEMI"s and stuff coming out. But w/ gas/car ins getting higher and higher thats why the stang stays alive so much. plus there always the upper model mustangs to defend those hemis away....cough GT500

I went to a Dodge dealer yesterday...
INCREDIBLE...it looks like the 2012 SRT/8 - 392 will be a GREAT competitor for the BOSS or any other stangs on the 45K price range! (out of the dealer)

I test-drove the SRT/8 (2011), which is not the 392 YET, and I was surprised with the handling, power is not the same as my 5.0 with 93 tune, but, mostly it is the COMFORT and SPACE over the Mustangs and the interior is just really amazing.

I wonder if anyone has experience with Dodges, preferably not on RACING, just regular FAST driving, muscle looks and driving fun.
Are they really HISTORICAL good as the DODGE guys say!
TKS,

There is no f***ing way a Challenger SRT8 is beating an M3 around anything except the drive-through at a McDonald's.
