Default Gapping Spark Plugs

I just got my Ford Racing plugs from JDM. They are the one heat range colder. My question is how do you gap these spark plugs to .035 ? The electrode is connected on both sides.

Default RE: Gapping Spark Plugs

You need a special tool. It's a metal "socket" that the spark plug threads into. Then there's a screw that is used to bend the electrode.

You can also do it in a vise. Put a spark plug socket onto the plug to protect the body, then squeeze it in a vise to close the electrode. (careful!)
