Default Billet Gas Door - Where to get a good one

Looking for options for a high quality brushed aluminum billeted gas cover (door). I see some have a slider you push over to open them... anybody know if these come in brushed and where to get them?

How do these install? Just a couple screws? Or is there some sort of glue or tape used as well?

Web links if you have them! THanks !

I am not sure how they install but if you go through some of the sponsor sites in your spare time several of them have them. I have seen a few different ones while looking through myself. On a previous car I had, you disconnect the factory gas door and the new one bolts to the inner lip, but as I said I have not done one on a 05+ Mustang yet.

Here is where I got mine: http://www.silverhorseracing.com/web...ategory_id=255. I have the polished silver one with the GT logo.
You remove the old door and install the new one using the same bolt holes. There are some spacers that you have to install as well to make sure it comes out flush. You can also buy this same piece from Steeda for the same price, but these are the guys that manufacture it.

Get a set of flexible rachet wrenches, it makes it a whole lot easier to install the cover. The link is just for the pic, shop around there are better prices.

I bought mine from Steeda. You can do a search on eBay and probably find them but beware of the imitations.

Bought mine (Brushed finish) from Silverhorse Racing... and it arrived today. One word: awesome! Fuel door has better machined tolerances than the stang! I also bought the honeycomb rear panel from Silverhorse, and this was top-notch quality as well.

+1 for Silver Horse Racing. My GT is Redfire, I ordered the black anodized GT logo door. Excellent quality!!! Easy to install with basic tools. Beware of cheap imitations, however. I've seen some real bad imitations.

One more thing, I ordered directly from Silver Horse, by phone. Outstanding service and nice people to talk to.
