Default Dumb question alert!

How much darker do your headlights/highbeams and tail lights get when you have black outs on them?

It's a considerable amout darker/dimmer with blackouts, I had them on my 2001 mustang and if you drive in the country you can't see squat. If you live in the city it isn't bad though, just run with your highbeams on.

It's also illegal in most states to drive with blackout lights at night. If you'll look the products usually always say "daytime use only".

Anybody who uses them is asking to get stopped and ticketed, and doesn't give a **** about their safety, their passenger's safety, or anybody else on the road for that matter.

Actually, the products will usually say "off-road use only".
I just use my Lund headlight covers to keep the bugs and rocks from damaging the plastic covers.

I blacked out my tail-lights and at night they are still clearly visible. I would never black out my headlights though.

When I have my headlight covers on I cant see a damn thing at night, even with the high beams. I usually pull em off if I go tooling around at night.

Lets see if your friend still loves them, to get around 15 hp from an s2000 be prepared to spend around 2k. We still havent' seen 1 exhaust or header system that actually adds any rwhp on the dyno. Actually still haven't seen one that hasn't taken out hp actually.
