I agree with all that you've said.

Execpt one thing - dyno tune.

I, too, bought the Brenspeed SCT.

What I've learned is that a generic tune is good - but a dyno tune is much better.
Be careful here. For MOST PEOPLE, with common bolt-on mods, a Dyno tune will not be significantly better than a mail-order tune from a good tune shop such as Brenspeed or Evolution. (Note, DO NOT confuse this with the default tune from a wholesaler like Summit, Jegs, RPM outlet, etc--those are awful).

A Dyno tune is worthwhile ONLY if you have uncommon engine mods, or more serious mods like cams or heads which are not commonly tuned for.

In the case of common bolt-ons like a CAI, there is no practical difference between a Dyno tune and a good Email tune.
