had a friend telling me last night he's going to pick up a new joe gibbs edition silverado tomorrow if everything goes according to plan. i've looked for the truck online all morning and found nothing on it but he's telling me it's a 400 HP truck and i'm trying to find out what kind of a threat it might pose.

sounds like a regional package option, most times done by a dealer group.

Its just like getting a roush kit added to the stang.. here is a link on it. its really just a roots blower to bump the power, then the standard addons

+1 I remember seeing that truck. I'm not sure it ever made it to the showroom floor but I'd much rather spring for the half ton single cab LS2 RWD Silverado SS. Sounds like so much more fun. I think it even was supposed to have a manual tranny. Much better than the reg silverado SS or Joe gibs SS. It still can't see a Lightning though.

Not all Gibbs trucks are supercharged. Like a Saleen Mustang, there are different levels.
