Just got back in from my Thanksgiving weekend trip. 800+ miles and I averaged 26.2 miles per gallon in my 06 GT. Not bad at all.

Wow! What was your avg speed? I assume you were only going around 60mph. That's awesome mileage, I wish I could get that.

Hi All,

Back when my car was totally stock I managed to average just over 28MPG on a freeway run the S.F. from L.A. Now I'm doing well in maximum mileage mode to average over 20MPG on the same freeway run to S.F. Of course it goes a lot faster now.

Same here, Drove from southern WV back to Richmond, VA About 400 miles
and the info center said an average of 26.4 MPG and I ran 70-75 all the way.

Pretty much all interstate (CO & NM). Had the cruise set at 75 mph and just enjoyed the ride. All stock except for my Flomaster mufflers.

Should I call you out on drafting? Sure....I can get 35mpg's when I'm tucked up behind an 18-wheeler. Seriously though, that's great mileage. I wonder how much these cars fluctuate straight from the factory....in terms of HP, Mileage, TQ numbers etc. I've always felt like my car was slower than everyone elses.
