please help with gauges
i have the 07 gt and i bought three autometer gauges. 1-a/f ratio,2-oil pressure,3-volt meter. im having a huge problem with connecting the main wire from the a/f gauge to the vehicle. where does it go? autometer said pin#28 on the harness that is under the hood at the front on the passenger side. he said it was a gray wire with a light blue stripe. i checked and couldnt find it. he however did say the diagram he was looking at was from an 05 gt? i read where some are just tapping it into one of the 02 sensor wires directly. im gonna be honest, i dont care if its 100% accurate or not. i just love the look of gauges. do you know if im looking for the right wire or do you know which one it is? second question is where the heck is the oil pressure sending unit? is it between the filter and the block on that neck piece? and they gave me a sending unit with the gauge and its the bulky one. will it work? or do i buy an adapter? and finally the volt meter, whats a good place to plug it into to get a decent volt read?i appreciate your help. thanx guys (and gals)

RE: please help with gauges
Your best bet is to return it and get your money back. Narrowband gauges are not only "not 100% accurate", they are completely impossible to read with any accuracy and worthless because all the do is bounce back and forth all over the place. They are merely a light show for rice cars, period. As for where to connect it, on the 05s it is the top PCM plug, a purple wire with a green stripe.

The oil pressure sensor, you will have to get a "T" adaptor so that the stock connector will stay connected also. Otherwise you will throw engine codes. I think you can ground the switch and it won't throw codes, but honestly don't remember if that is the mod or not.
As for the volt meter, sorry.... haven't hooked one up.
