I've been looking for one of those intake covers for my GT, a lot of the auctions claim these came standard on the 2007 GT's, (which I have) Mine did not come with one. Was this an option with the GT appearance package or something, or did the dealer rob it off the car for another mustang before I got the car? Just wanted to see if any of you guys knew for sure before I went to the dealer and looked like an idiot if I asked.

It was an option, I beleive there are 2 different packages that it came on.

In the 2007 catalog it's only under the GT Appearance Package, with the hood scoop and exhaust tips.

It is part of the GT Appearance package, which is required on the GT/CS..

I took mine off. While its nice to show off under the hood, I found it to hold heat in more so then without it, so I have kept it off for now. Makes the intake cool off faster at the track between runs
