Has any1 that is recomending 4.10s ever drove a gt with 4.10s? Or even have a 05+ gt? 4.10's die out at 115mph, I drove a 4.10, races vs a 4.10, seen 4.10 vs 3.73/3.90/3.55. 4.10's are track only gears, if you street race at @ all dont go with them because you will seriously hurt your top end. 4.30s is just plain stupid you will run all your gears(1-4) before 110 or maybe less mph.
Umm... Yea, for over a year, 1/8th, 1/4, street and highway. And yes, I can pull to 130 before I redline in 4th. Wanna go for a ride??

both 4th gears are 1:1 so unless you trap faster then 120 (doubt it) go with atleast 4.10s 4.30 if your a 5 speed
[sm=dontgetit.gif] Both 4th gears? He's only changing the rear gears right? Even in 4th his RPM's will be higher than stock gears... I think I'm confused.
both the autos and manuals 4th gear is 1:1, so no matter what tranny you need to trap around 120 or up to not want 4.10s or around 115 for 4.30s
Thanks for the clarification. Makes perfect sense now

The guy androdz is talking about is me. We raced and I was ahead, not by much, but by 120 he passed me pretty fast and easy.

4.10s over stock is equal to about .4-.6 seconds depending on driver, and if your racing to over 120, thats just plain stupid,

We raced 4x and 3x I beat you, you beat me when I was an *** and tried to launch at 3.2k rpm. From the 20mph roll, it was all me, from 2nd gear all me, from the whole with when I hooked up we stayed even until 2nd. Your 20 inch rims that weight like 70lbs with tire sure do kill you =/.

I have almost your sme mods and I only hit the beginning of 4th in the 1/4mile. My car traps at 106. Hope this helps.
We need to get you some real tires, you car has the potential to trap 112 or more but you dont have any sidewall @ all. Email me later so we can get those rims moving.

Is 0-60 faster or slower with 4.10's? With 3.55's 60mph is hit in 2nd gear requiring only one shift. Do 4.10's make you have to hit 3rd before getting to 60?

uhh no, with equal drivers, between (what used to be stock) 3.27s and 4.10s, it is about a .4-.6 quarter difference so probably about .3-.5 in the quarter, or 3-5 cars
