On a different subject, my first mod will be a CAI and tune. 07AlloyGT , Arwing , how do you guys like yours?
yeah, totally love it. the tune did more for the car at this point than putting the CAI on.

rev up to like 3-4k dump the clutch and quickly press the brake with the left foot while giving it gas

You really use your left foot for the brake?
I actually dump the clutch with the left and use my right foot after I dump and hold it on the brake and gas it the same time.
Do most people do it the other way like he is saying? Just curious.

brake-standing is very rough on the brakes

just FYI

Buy a Line-Lock kit, you can turn the rear brakes off for burnouts
+1 That's the best way to do it without damaging the rear brakes.

You will glaze the rear rotors and pads if you do this very much and that will damage them to the ppoint of needing to be replaced.

Hehe, I think we've all done a nice little burout at some point.
I choose the dump the clutch stlye in this carand use the left foot for the brake. I tried the right foot for brake and gas and it wasnt working so well. Other cars seemed easier tho.

You guys dump you clutch?!?!?!??!?

I use my right foot to controll both the break and the gas at the same time, while I casually release the clutch with my left (I have a size 14 shoe). Somehow I feel that dumping is murder on the drivetrain for this.
