CAI/Tune increase sound levels in exhaust?

CAI/Tune increase sound levels in exhaust?
Does the addition of a CAI/Tune increase the sound level of your axle-back exhaust? The reason why I'm asking this is because I plan on adding these two after getting an axle-back exhaust. [8D]

Just installed my CAI and tune after the axle back was on the car. YES is did give the car a deeper rumble but you will forget all about the sound when you realalize what the tune did for the performance.[sm=gears.gif]

I recently pulled my CAI off and reflashed the tune to stock before the 5k service, leaving the Pypes Violators on. It did seem like the sound was a little more tame but I don't know if that was because of the CAI or the tune settings; with the 91 brenspeed tune she idles a little higher, and with less throttle lag she growls louder sooner.
Either way the Pypes sounded a lot better than I remember the stock mufflers sounding.
