Default SHOULD I GET NEW HEADS?

Need your thoughts on heads........should I get them or not. My stang is an 06 automatic daily driver with stage 3 comp cams recently installed with all the supporting mods and full exhaust. Recently dyno'd at 321 rwhp and still crave more power. Any thoughts on what heads to get, price, performance increase results, or should I do it at all. Any hassles I should be aware of. I have read about Ford racings new 3v heads but I'm unfamiliar with other names. Please help.

Should've done it with your cam install, which I also should've done. Would've saved us a lot of labor charges, but i'm almost sure I won't be doing heads now because of labor.

Since you already have cams, I would NOT do heads.

Heads and cams both address the same thing: improving flow through the ports in the heads. A camshaft opens the valves further and longer, while heads make the flow less restrictive. These are different methods of acheiving the same goal. As such, the mods have a lot of overlap.

Whereas on a car without cams you might get +40 HP from heads, you would only see20HP (if you're lucky)given you already have the cams. The cost of heads, plus labor, is extravagant for that kind of gain.

However, with cams and common bolt-ons you should be putting down a lot closer to 345-350 HP. What other mods do you have??

2006 GT automatic: 93 octane diablosport tune, C&L street intake, Steeda UDP's, JBA shorty headers, Bassani catted X pipe and cat back, TCI streetfighter torque converter, stage 3 comp cams, Ford racing 3.73 ring and pinion, BBK 62mm throttle body

321 rwhp was on a mustang dyno, don't know if that makes a difference, plus the auto tranny could cause the low sounding dyno#'s
