TSB for gas gauge fluctuations?

TSB for gas gauge fluctuations?

Does anyone know if there is a TSB for the gas gauge reading like a half a tank, then you take a turn and it's down to like 5 miles until empty? This happened 3 times in 5 minutes the other day. I want to take my car in and get it fixed, but i don't know what to tell the guys at the dealership. Help is appreciated

it did that on mine, they replaced the fuel sending unit, never hard the problem again.

Ok so I went up to my dealership and told them the problem. The lady told me that they would have to run a diagnostic check to see if there were any error codes. I took it to a different dealership for the the same problem a few months back. They gave my car back and said there was nothing wrong because there were no codes. My question is, are there any codes that this faulty sending unit will show, or are the people at the dealership just screwing me?
