Default Any good CAI cleaners?

The JLT II is getting alittle dirtyand well its time for some cleaning haha. Anybody know of any good filter cleaners? Theres one from the JLT performance site...but kind of wanted to clean it today. So does anybody know if pep boys, or Kragens have any good intake cleaners?

Or wouldI be better of going with the intake cleaner from the JLT site?
Thanx everyone[sm=smiley2.gif]

You can buy a K&N filter cleaning kit at pepboys, it has everything you need.

what about the better question. MAF cleaners?

well not a better question, but just as valid. its important to clean out your maf with a certain type of cleaner every like 25K miles or so. i saw it on 2 guys garage, can't remember the name.

I use electrical contact cleaner to clean the MAF. You can get it at any auto parts store. I do it every 15,000 miles. It's easy to do and the cleaner is cheap.

As for cleaning air filters, the K&N cleaning kit is your best bet. It comes with directions, cleaner, and fresh oil for the filter.

The important thing to remember when cleaning washable air filters is to always rinse from the inside out, that way you flush the grime off of the filter, instead of deeper into it.

100% correct and remember to give your filter plenty of time to dry before reoiling it . I have an extra filter so i don't have any down time
