i am thinking to get SLP loud mouths for my car.. i got completly stock exhaust and i am thinking with SLPs i will get the 60's muscle car sound.. so just the SLP axle-backs will get me that sound?

borlas, will not. they are just really deep but have no sound definition.

IMO mac's really scream and roar. they have that musclecar dissonance to them.

Before i got mine i must have listened to about 50 clips and vids andwhilethey sound good on the computerit dosen't do it any justice. In person they sound amazing, alsothe stang idles mean and screams when you get on it!

dude that SLP was making that pop sound so bad... it wasn't smoothly reving down.. wtf? cuz the engine was cold or they are always like that?

They do pop when they are fresh but as time goes on they won't anymore. I was like WTF when they were popping but now its just badass sound all day everyday.

I have the loudmouths. They pop like that when the engine is cold and don't do it when it's warmed up. These things scream, man. I was looking for the same sound as you - that badass 60's muscle car roar and I am not disappointed at all. No drone, nothing but that great sound. I've gotten so many compliments on the way my car sounds, I wouldnt change a thing if I did it again.

I also like how the slpslook since the stock muffs look bad with those huge A/B.

You won't regret getting Loudmouths at all. I love mine, but I think when I upgrade to Longtube headers I will have to get something with a muffler so it won't be crazy loud. The loudmouths will pop when the engine is cold but that goes away when it warms up. They sound great at idle and are insane at WOT.
