Mine is $464 every 6 months for the mustang. That's through Geico with a multicar discount and safe driver discount. Insurance coverage is PI 25/50 and PD $50k. Age place an important roll as well as were you live. I would expect a fast car to cost more than a 4x4 for insurance. I'm 33 by the way.

Your credit makes a difference as well. People who pay their bills on time are better drivers.

While you might not be able to do better than that i'd still get a few quote from other companies. I dumbed statefarm and saved over $50 per month.

ORIGINAL: 06stangGT

just under 200 a month through state farm. 19 years old, no tickets.

40 years old. Full coverage on 06 GT is about $800/yr through Farm Bureau - no violations, good credit, multicar discount. I pay the same price for my 06 F350 FX4.

I just got an unsoliceted quote from Allstate for $525.00 a year,
BUT they will not write my homeowners because I live in FLORIDA,
So I give my business to Travelers Ins. because they have the ***** to write
my homeowners and not tuck and run like most of them.....
P.S. HOW BOUT THEM GATORS !!!!!!!!!

I pay 1100 a year here in Memphis. That's really cheap insurance being that 70 percent of the drivers here don't have insurance (according to the billboards) and we have one of the highest auto theft, wrecks, and drunk or high drivers in the nation....YEA MEMPHIS!!!!!!!!! Can't wait to move out of here.

My insurance actually went down when i went from an 02 Mazda Protege5 to an 06 GT Conv. My agent explained that it had to do with the repairability factors and whatnot. Keep in mind when you're shopping for insurance, that the cheapest is the cheapest for a reason. They may skimp on repairs and not cover other things such as car rentals. I pay $2000 a year for both cars now, 29, 3 accidents (none were my fault), 3 speeding tickets (none were my fault) over 12 yrs.. pedal to the metal!
