My friend just bought a new SuperBee which puts on 425 hp. He has less than 1000 miles right now so he's afraid to let 'er rip. Hopefully he'll be ready after I put some 4.10s and UDPs on.
is it me or is that alot of hp?? I wish you the best
Yeah its alot of HP alright...Alot ofweight too! When I first bought my 06GT I did some weight reduction on the car for its first MODS.Did the basics, removed EVERYTHING from the trunk & removed a few other things that were in excess IMO of course. All together I dropped about 200lbs!Anyways,I ran into an SRT8 Charger & smoked him bad! With nothing but a weight reduction!

You should be able to beat a stock R/T, thats a given.
SRT-8, thats a different story.

There is more than just a tire in the trunk Bro!LOL!I would say a good 60-70lbs can come out of the trunk.....See for yourself.

Yeah, stock for stock we have R/T's.

With those SRT8's they will be very close and is mainly up to your driving(if five-speed).

You guys are crazy, an SRT8 stock vs S197 stock is a big diference. the SRT8 will do quarters at near 13 sec, flat. Yes it weighs roughly 400 pounds more, but 100 hp more also. I got whooped by an SRT8 on I75 the other day LOL. It was one of those daytona orange ones with black stripes.

Stock for stock, I think from a dig with a good launch, you are golden to hold him off - but from a roll on the highway, you might get stung........

Great kill!
Actually, I never saw any SRT8 do 13 seconds flat.....only when they aredreamin!
I have raced R/T Chargers and SRT8 Chargers and SRT8 Magnums. They are usually between 13.6 and 14.2 at the track I go to.
Not impressed at all with those big ol family cars. The owners really think they are hard-core muscle cars.
Here is picture of an SRT8 Magnum I raced. The owner was near tears when he could not break 14.0 seconds. I raced an R/T Charger that same day also he was at 14.2 while racing the mighty Mustang which was turning in high 11 second time slips!
