Really the only way your gonna get a noticable difference is adding a new midpipe with highflow cats or an O/R pipe. I went with the Kooks Longtubes, Highflow Catted X, and Magnapacks. And yes from the headers and midpipe there is a big noticable difference.

I have read articles on axle backs and seen a few dyno sheets on some others. It appears that unless your motor is supercharged the difference between most of them is negligible. The factory 2 1/2 mufflers are very efficient for the naturally aspirated motor. Dyno sheets show the proof of only a few HP at best. So if you have a normally aspirated motor you are spending your money for sound not HP. On motors that are supercharged the gains are higher. They are in the 10-20 HP range. So buy them for the nice sound, but don't expect the large HP gains that some of the manufacturers claim. If you want HP it would be better spent on your motor not your muffs.

Youll get the 13 to 15 rwhp gains when you add a full exhaust system i.e. headers mid pipe and your choice of perfomance mufflers.

The sound alone is worth 5 HP.

I havnt seen charts showing that low for a LT setup. I think the lowest I have seen is 18 and the most I have seen is 24.

if anything, it'll add a few HP but minus a few torque.
