ladder bars

RE: ladder bars
The OEM suspension is already very similar to a 4-link setup, which is superior to a ladder bar in that you can adjust instant center.
Ladder bars are generally used when upgrading an older car that has a leaf-spring rear suspension. I have not heard of anyone using ladder bars on these cars, and I don't think it would be an upgrade at all. You cannot adjust instant center on a ladder bar suspension, so in that regard it would actually be a downgrade!
BMR has run an 8.65 1/4 mi using the stock suspension geometry (3-link). Their car is running aftermarket components, but the design of the suspension is no different than stock.
