Default Anyone know the stock piston / rod hp limit?

I'm looking to get my mustang when I get back from Iraq. But I'm wanting to make sure I have enough money to mod her too. Anyone know what the stock connecting rod and piston HP limit is? I'm already planning on the Rousch supercharger kit, and a new exhaust, starting with headers on back, but what about nitrous? If I'm running the Roushcharger, which should put me around 400 hp at the flywheel, how much more can the rods/pistons handle?

Thanks for any information you can give me, I searched the forums, couldn't find anything.

Most people that are "pushing" the limits with stock internals stop just short of 500rwhp. I'm currently running 12psi. and somewhere between 450-475 rwhp. I'm not going any further until I build a spare long block to handle more without issues.

Pretty much everyone agrees on 450 rwhp is a safe limit, this seems to be the majority some will say more some less. Now people are saying the trans.won't take this much power and will give out over time. I'm still going with the Paxton s/c from Brenspeed, I'm going with two tunes, 400 rwhp for the street and 450 for the track. I only go to the track about once a year so I won't be beating the trans. or the engine hard numerous times so hopefully everything will stay together.
