yes the 07 definitely has tire pressure monitoring system. it goes off every time i start the car since i put the winter wheels/snow tires on without new sensors. goes away when you push the rest button though.

ALL 2007 and later cars are required by federal saftey laws to have a tire pressure monitoring system

Really?? Wow...it's times like these I feel sorry for the human race. Have we forgotten how to check tire pressure? Seriously, how exactly is a tire pressure monitor safer, if you take out the laziness of NEVER checking your tire pressure?

Gah, getting off-topic, I know...but geez...

Remember the firestone/explorer issues.. also the number or accidents from tires blowing out from low pressure at high speeds

Yeah I suppose...you have a point there, but the general response to something like this is that people will never again check their tire pressure until that silly light comes on. Well, what happens when the system fail? It's sort of like the low fuel warning. People used to keep track of mileage per tank. Now I doubt the average driver does at all. I'm all for safer stuff and less accidents, but I'm also a big fan of common sense and real world education, and sometimes I think we are taking a step backwards with these types of laws...

Ironically enough, I'm all for the headlights + wipers law, and have been arguing for ABS brakes in another thread. Go figure...

The system works in that if the sensor fails the TPS alerts you.. Which is why its such a PIA
