hey guys. just installed and JLT CAI out in the garage. already had a Diablo Predator and had the 93 oct performance tune installed. when i installed the JLT and booted up my Predator, i loaded the JLT tune that comes on it then went into performance tunes to intsall. however, it said JLT cold air induction 91 octane tune and said press ok to install. is this ok since i'm running 93 octane? please help asap. thanks guys

Sure it is, you are just lucky enough to get 93 octane fuel....Some area's don't so the boxed tune is just universal is all....My sct tune was custom tuned for 93 oct though

why is it that the JLT preloaded tune only came with 91 octance. why don't you get to chose between 87-93 octane after you install the JLT tune?

well as long as it's ok to run 93 octane on a 91 octane JLT performance tune then that's all i'm concerned with

Yes, it's OK.

So long as the gas in your tank is the same as or higher than what your tune specifies, you're OK.

thanks guys i appreciate the help. so since my predator came with a preloaded tune for a JLT CAI, would i still benefit from getting a custom tune from one of the places most guys in here are always talking about?

kind of weird situation, at times after adding the CAI my car feels like it has tons more power, but others it feels like it was stronger before with just the peformance tune and stock air box. i'm sure it's just in my head. does anyone has a diablo predator with a JLT CAI and custom tune they could send me? thanks everybody
