They are pretty cars but so damned expensive. It kills me that you can build so much more car for so much less. I gotta say i generally hate Roush's being that they have become more body kit bullsh$t than performance, but I like the 427 because it's more stripped down and grass-roots style. I know it comes with a lot less of the stupid options and is more of a true hotrod. I'm not a tuner car fan, but if I were to get one THAT would be the one. very nice!

Not thrilled with the way Rousch misused the 427 moniker. Had an opportunity to buy a Stage 3 last year when I was in the market for a Shelby. Dealer here wanted $53K.

At $10K over the Shelby sticker and barely able to hang with a stock Vette, way overpriced. What are they asking for the "427"?

Decided on the CS instead. More fun building my own anyway

Roush, Steeda, Saleen - doesn't matter. Too much money spent on non-performance parts - or parts most of us will never use (suspension).

I've got $34k in my GT and have about 400 at the flywheel and no useless spoilers or ducting.

If you like "tuner" cars - go for it. I was on a budget. And I've got a "one of a kind."

Hi Revans - Harsh? Sorry. I wasn't trying to be. Just my opinion. I said if you like tuner cars - go for it!

My bag is form follows function - and most spoilers/add on bodyparts are not functional.

Your car looks sweet.

I had to use my budget to come up with something that performed at the lowest cost.

Sorry if I offended you, man.

I think the car looks great and the only problem is you are paying for the roush name along with the upgrades. Its great that it is S/C though.

saw a shootout of the roush against the GT500 on youtube.com, pretty impressive. overall they gave it to the roush. but it a straight line it can't touch the shelby. also, my GT has a non functional hood. love the look but when you stretch it out on the interstate it makes the hood act like it's going to fly up
