Default axleback install Q

is it easy to install axlebacks (violators if anyone cares) without having to jack the rear end up? i've never been under the rear end really, and i dont have access to jack and stands like back home. i'd rather not buy them if i didnt have to. i did a few searches and came up empty.

I did it without any jacks. It would make it easier with them though.

I made a couple of drive on ramps out of scrap 2x12 lumber. Raised the back end up 3" and made the exhaust work easy. I also used these to do the last oil change. Now I can get under the side of the car.

Searay, drive her up on some 2x6's, that should give you just enough clearence, if not add more 2x6's.
