Always somebody faster. I am currently trying to have the fastest 'real' street car DD S197. I say 'real' because I am keeping full interior. I have radio, a/c, orginal seats, dash, full body kit, etc, along with my cage but it's tough - my pig weighs in at almost 4K pounds. It is a mid 10 sec car on low boost right now and will make 9's within a month. I drive it all the time on the street. I don't say 'DD' only because I have a couple cars so no car is my complete 'DD' car - but yeah, it's a street car and that's been the plan since day one.
Oh - the reason I posted - what do you mean DR's aren't for going to work?????? I use slicks at the track but my street tires are 18X10 billets with Nitto NT555 275/40/18 up front and 555R 305/45/18 out back. I use a DR out back everyday!
