Don't know what my boss paid for it, but it had 2K miles on it, driven by the dealer manager, when he bought it (Labor Day 2006). I bought it from him a month later with 3100 miles.
2006 GT Premium vert, Torch Red, Black top, Black leather interior, IUP, satin dash, Shaker 500, wheel locks, vert boot, 18" fanblades...$31,500. KBB (used)was $34K.

Sounds like a good deal. Once my car gets delivered I will post what my total out the door cost was....another ? How good is ford with giving fair price on trade ins..or do they try to rape u like all the other stealerships?

I am really glad I came across this thread.
To makea long story short, I am looking into buying a brand new 2006 GT. It is between two different cars, and I'd like to get your opinion on the prices that I'm getting. (I think they are really good prices).
Here goes.
#1. 2006 GT Coupe Deluxe- Black/Med Parchment Leather (not crazy about it but beggars can be choosers).
Options: 5-Speed AT, Interior upgrade package, Anti Theft, Wheel Locking Kit (BS), Front seat side airbags, 17" Bright Machined Cast Alum., Leather Trim Spt Bucket Seats (dunno), Shaker 1000 6-CD.
Total MSRP= $30,700, I can get it from the dealer for a grand total of $26,423 w/ Taxes and fees.
#2. 2006 GT Coupe Premium- Redfire (not crazy about this color)/Dark Charcoal Leather
Options: 5 Speed AT, Interior upgrade, Wheel locking, 18" Premium Alum wheels, Shaker 1000.
Total MSRP= $30,665, I can get it from the dealer for $25,804, including taxes and fees.
Can anyone confirm that these are good prices for an 06 model, brand spankin new?
Also, can anyone tell me if there are two different shaker 1000 systems. one with 6-CD, and one without.
