Default Service Bulletin on my 06 GT Vert

Just a heads up...Opened up my passenger's door the other day and when I closed it sounded like the glass was going to shatter. For those of you with the convertible know, when you open the door the window retracts just a little and when you close the window it goes back up. Wasn't sure if it's just because it's friggin cold in this da*n state and the fact it hasn't hit even 20 degrees in weeks and it's been down to minus 30 with the windchill so something just froze in the door or what. (A little bitter and tired about the cold, can you tell?) Took it into Ford to have it checked out. Apparently there is a service bulletin out on this. Had to update the computer. So if you're having this issue....it's under warranty.

Is that not related to the battery going too low???

i thought all of the GTs windows did that when you open and close the doors? i havent had any issues with it sticking in either of the positions - but its 75 degrees down here....so no worries. what does the service bulletin say is causing this to happen?

Yes, all gt and v6 have those windows, but when the battery runs too low the computer loses its program for the window along with other stuff, but you can recalbrate them at home, no need for the dealer, it tells you how in the book!

This just affected my passenger window. The driver's one worked fine, so I don't think it had anything to do with battery. Haven't had any battery problems. Car stays in the garage when not being driven.

its amazing how ford came up with the window retracts to aleviate pressure pockets inside. I dont think any other car company has done that.. am i right?
