That's because your leaving the sound behind you. You should stand behind your car while someone takes off in it. WoW!
I thought the same thing, but people keep telling me it's nice and loud.

Hey i have the borla cat back exhaust system and i want to get the borla l/t headers but they are so damn expensive, like 1,300 dollas, any one have both borla headers and exhaust, and would you recoomend using a dif brand for headers just bcuz there cheaper, or would it be better to just wait and save and keep it all borla....

So when you all talk of "drone", what kind of sound or effect is that?

There have been two other people to ever drive my car w/o me in it and they only got one shot a piece. The guy who installed my gears and my sister. It did sound sweetbut I'm looking for a little more volumeto scare women and children.[sm=badbadbad.gif]

love mine with the kooks LT high flow cat setup....they are night and day over stock as far as loudness goes, IMO....not obnoxious....but definitely will rumble the garage doors at start up....they mellow down after the car has warmed up and will growl at regular driving and roar at WOT.....love em...
Do you have an audio clip of your setup? I've een thinking about adding Kooks with high flow cats, but want to make sure they're not obnoxious.

Thanks,
-danny

I dont....I should try and get one...I dont think it is obnoxious at all (IMO) but at startup it is freaking sweet. To me its like a true freaking old time car...the headers pinging slightly as they heat up for about a minute so...the only sound I wish i could get is that lope like you get from a good cam...that would make it perfect oh that and a nice wine of a supercharger.....priceless.... if I do get a sound clip made, I will post...
