GT seeks Big Brother to do heavy lifting...
Well, the wife is learning to drive the Mustang but she needs more practice then she's likely to get driving it once a week, and she's pretty good but it's still killing me with every stall, over-rev, mis-shift, etc.
So I was thinking of getting her a DD that's a stick-shift. She's daring and willing to go full-time with the manual tranny.
But we need a vehicle that can carry around the groceries and the kids (x4). Right now we have a Trailblazer and we like it but they are not offered in a Stick shift.
So what new Ford vehicle has a manual tranny option and will haul my family of six - maybe 7 one day? I looked at the Ford and Chevy websites and did not find anything...
Thanks for any suggestions!

Buy a beater for $1k and let her get the hang of shifting (maybe an older Ranger?).
Last spring, my wife was driving my 350Z and went from 3rd to 2nd instead of 4th....
She has no idea how much I love her.

honestly you're gonna be hard up to find something that will haul 6+ people and still be a manual. 6+ people pretty much limits you to suv's, and there arent a whole lot of suv's being made nowadays that are a manual...Usually if they have a manual they are a base model, and the auto is much easier for those types of vehicles because of how they are going to be used (mom hauling lots of kids/stuff/groceries) and lets face it...not everyone is lucky enough to have a wife/girlfriend that wants to drive a manual all the time...Just my thoughts, hope it was helpful...
