so, FLA...did you notice any performance difference with the spacer or just the whine? if all i am gonna notice out of it is the whine, i'll just save the $100 and let my wife ride around with me
well i dont kno, i put the tb spacer and an k&n intake in at the same time, no real big diff tho sadly even between the both of them, but i don thave my car tuned yet so maybe once i get it tuned it will be able to take advantage of the spacer and intake and i will feel a big diff hopefully....i did notice better gas mileage tho....

I'm kind of in the same boat you are. I installed the K&N CAI and the spacer. I'm awaiting my tuner, which is in the mail. That'll be sweet. I also have my cat-backs shipping now. It's a race to see which exciting mod will get done first.

As for an update...I took it to AutoZone and they ran a OBD-II check on it--it's reporting "Too Lean"...makes complete sense, now that more air's being forced in. They reset the light, and so far it hasn't come back on. I also only had one of the two gaskets on before the light tripped. That's fixed so we'll see if it comes back on. And yeah, I hear the wheezing. I don't know about anyone else, and I know there's been tons of threads on this issue, but the change in throttle response is noticable to me. And gas mileage increases are always a plus. To me, worth the $100 or so.
