Default brenspeed c&l cai sct2

I just installed my air intake and programmer. I did the 87 octane tune and it said it was finished. I never went into specifics, just installed the regular 87 tune. Now, how does a person change gear ratios and such? Also, I wanted it programmed for headers and no cats, is that done before its sent? I told Brent before I ordered about the headers and such. Also, is the c&l already programmed for the tuner. How do you set the rev. limiter? I took it for a drive after, and wow, the throttle responce is crazy, not sure about how much more power (been parked for 5 months) but it sure pulls like a bat outta hell.

Brent has the parameters set for in the tune. No need to worry about rev limiters and so on. The best thing for you to do if you want to change the gear ratios is either talk to SCT or have Brenspeed talk you through it. Also anytime you buy a product from Brenspeed he will send you an updated tune to make the necessary parameters change. If you don't buy from Brent then you will have to go to a dyno and with your SCT 2 tuner they will make the necessary changes. Hope this helps.

So, then all I have to do is download the 87 octane tune and its good to go? Thats the gas I'm using right now. What about for a offroad h-pipe. I told him that I have headers and a offroad h-pipe when I ordered it, but I don't have them on the car right now. Is the tune for the headers and no cats? Is this goin to do anything, or do I have to shut off the O2 sensors myself with the tune?

Knowing Brent he gave you the tune with that you mentioned. Try the tune and see how it works. Personally I think you will be fine. Call his office or email him they will return the call eventually. I heard today his wife had a baby so be a little patient.

I tried the tune last night, and it works like a dream. Didn't throw any engine lights or anythign, and did it pull like a bat outta hell! I am just wondering when I actually do put the headers on if I would have to re-tune it again, and would it help to get it dino tuned. the shop I'm gettin the headers put on at said they can dino-tune cars as well.
