Hey guys, I had an off road X pipe and I just put on the flowmasters. It sounds pretty awfull in my opinion. some of my friends like it a lot but I don't. It is extremely RASPY [&:]and sounds like a freakin honda. Will an off road H make a big difference?

I can tell the flows are good at low rpm they sound nice and deep but once i hit ~2500 the raspiness is unbarable and embarrasing.
Please comment your opinions/ ideas. thank you very much.

I like the sound of the H. On order as soon as he gets the stainless ones in.

Yep....h pipe for deeper and NOT raspy at all. That is the hige difference between the two.

haha....................either get some resonators or switch to an H pipe.

btw, do u have a white mustang?

did u by chance get the flows from like your brother or brother in law or something?

no mines Torch Red. But sounds like a VTAK honda (variable transisting actuationizing kinetisizer) LOL

I got Flows but kept the stock mids and have NO issues with any of the abovementioned "noises" - not even at higher rpm's. Honestly, I thought it was going to be much louder. However, its only slightly louder than the stocks were - IMHO. Of course I am slightly deaf in one ear and dumb in the other. [:-]
