Default New ride!! Time for Mods

After searching for almost three months I have finally found and bought my next ZOOM ZOOM!Just sold my 98 C5 Vert (see pic).My new ride isa 2006 GT Vert Premium with shaker 1000 and 20" wheels and 2067 miles on the clock. Blue with black top and black interior. Paid $24098.00 which I felt was a super deal. Only issue (small one) is she is in Denver and I live in Rhode Island (road trip)!!! I was going to have her shipped, but the quotes were $1200 or more on an open trailer with a 3-4 week wait. I couldn't wait that long so I am flying out and driving her home (hopefully no snow).
Anyways, first Mod I have to have is new Borla Cat Backs. I have done a search and didn't find a ton of updated info on where to find the best deal on these. Could anyone recomend where to get the best price on these???

Just found these on eBay. Are these legit Borlas and is this price good?

O.K. Now I am a bit confused!! Could someone tell me the difference between thefour different models of Borlas that are listed on the borladirect.com website? Schroll down the page and you will see a model 11750, 11751 and then the 140052 and the 1140067. Thanks

11751, For V6 Models
140052, For 95-04Models

Yeah the Vette was sweet but it had to go!! Two kids with no backseat meant very little drive time. My new GT Vert is as sweet though and once i get it home I will post some pics.

One question though for the folks who are in the know. What is better, the axle back or the Cat back system and can both be installed in my driveway without major tools or lifts???

yes both can be installed in your driveway with either jacking up the rear or getting it on some ramps. I have heard many people saying that the stock pipes after the midpipe flow really well, on the other hand, there is a member that said that, the borla catback has 19 less bends, better flow? i dunno, but i just ordered the borla catback

I was scratching my head there for a minute, wondering why you were getting rid of the vette.

Believe me I was close to tears when the Vette was sold! It was a 98 with very very low miles and had never seen rain or snow! Had Borlas on the Vette and loved them so I want to do the same to my Stang. Also will be doing the CAI with tune and underdrive pullys to get somewhere close to 300rwhp. The Vette had 345hp at the crank with 294rwhp aproximately stock. I had the Borla's and a Blackwing CAI so I figure the Vette was putting down around 310-315 rwhp at best. If I can get my Stang close to 300 rwhp I will be happy.
