Header studs torque specs?

Header studs torque specs?

I am in the process of installing some long tubes. Can anyone tell me how much to torque the header bolts to? I would hate to over torque them.

i've heard that the torque rating to be used is almost impossible to meet, that you can only get them as tight as humanly possible. not totally sure tho, wait for another that has done this to chime in.

They wern't very hard to break loose, so I don't think they could be really high.

The manifolds call for 18ft-lbs. Not sure if the headers are the same, but it should be in the same ballpark.

Thanks, but after I got started I figured out that there is no way to get a torque wrench to almost all the bolts anyway. So I just guessed. Oh well, no leaks yet.
