My wife usually only drives the car, shehates driving either of my trucks. She has always been comfortable with stick. Our last car was a Jetta with a stick, quick little car but the GT'spoweris totally differentso she was scared of it at first, but now she's gotten used to it andloves it.

She just drives her car for now and not sure when (or if) I'll teach her to drive the 5-speed in my car. But her Mazda is pretty fun.

Do you let your wives/gf's drive your car? If so, how often? Does she drive alone?

I recently had my wife out to drive again, and she continues to impress me with how well she does. She isn't the most comfortable, but has learned quite quickly and is good enough, in my opinion, to go it alone. In fact, I actually get quite excited when she drives and would really like to see more enthusiasm from her. Am I alone in this, or do you guys feel the same?
Since I got the GT she suddenly HAD to learn to drive the stick. Now I can't keep her at home! Since I get stares in the car I'm sure she gets even more attention, hottie in a manual Stang GT FTW. [>:]

I'm having separation anxiety whenever she leaves with the car.

The best soultion to this problem is to buy one for her.......

my girlfriend has always loved mustangs, so i had to teach her how to drive stick. she has done excellent learning on my mustang. she still gets a little nervous when it is wet, but she does fine by herself.

My wife learned to drive on the German autobahns. Let's just say that when she takes my car out for a spin, the car gets a good work out...

Nice rx8.

My wife doesn't want to drive my car. She's only driven it once when i borrowed hers to go kayaking with my bro. I'm sure she drove it like a grandma. She's afraid of the power, probably because i'm always going sideways with her in the car![:@][:@]
