get you some new motor mounts while you are at it. you'll be slamming the L/T's into the frame all the time if you dont. i encountered that when i put my JBA's on, finally got steeda motor mounts, and never had that problem again.

Are there going to be any issues connecting the headings to the pipes later?

Yes. An OEM style midpipe won't fit with longtubes. You need a longtube midpipe. Personally I'd just hold off until you can do the headers and then get the matching midpipe to go with them.

+1. that's exactly what i'm doing. i can't justifiy buying the x pipe now and then having a new tune done. then later on this year buying the long tubes, having to get rid of the x pipe i bought and buy another x pipe that fits, then get another tune for the long tubes and smaller x pipe.

Return the H-pipe and save for the longtubes cause you have to buy a corresponding midpipe for the longtube headers anyways...it'll save you $$$ in the long run...

It hurts, but thats what i'm going to do. I'm probably going to switch to American Racing or Kookslongtube/x-pipe combo. Leaning towards the American Racing ones.......

Those are 2 of the most popular choices of headers that i've seen on this forum so you will definitly be happy once all is said and done....
