Default Short Throw Shifter and Ford racing radiator??

Installed a C&L CAI with a predator tune.
Have a ZEX nitrous kit on the way..
heard it might be usefull to add a Ford racing radiator and a short throw shifter to improve performance in the 1/4mile timing?
is it to soon for these parts? are the neccesary in this early stage of mods?

Default RE: Short Throw Shifter and Ford racing radiator??

the short throw shifter might help you depending on how your shifting technique is. Some people love them, some don't.

The radiator won't be of much help at all. The radiator is typically used if you have a supercharger or turbo and are making a lot more HP than stock all the time.

Your best bang-for-the buck means of improving your 1/4 time is sticky tires and suspension work! Power is useless if you can't put it to the ground.

Make sure you get a special NITROUS tune. You don't want to be spraying nitrous with a typical tune.
