Yeah it was not a small dog it was a black lab or lab mut of some sort but i would say it weighed around 50-70 lbs so either way it would have hurt the car but nothing besides the car was hurt. and that's what the insurance is for.

well he could of still lost control if it was that big! You dont know how you would react in the situation until you are in it. I took out a raccoon and ahd to replace my front bumper. I tried to miss it but there was just not time.

And on top of that going over an animal that big it could of damaged more stuff under the vehicle. most of what i have is cosmetic damage and some suspension work, 2 rims and an axle and right rear braking system...... but big thing is no one got hurt. Now, had i had the vehicle longer and driven through rain ect. more often and knew how the car would react. I probably would have reacted different. but the damage is done and it could have been worse. Live and learn, it's all you can do.

Wow sorry to hear that, it seems like every one is bangin there cars up latly.
Its a sad thing but can be repaired.
