Default Question for you shakers out there

Now that I have the shaker installed I just thought how do the drains keep up with all the water in an automatic car wash? Anyone try it? I did pour water down the drains to see if they worked, but not nearly like the flood that will happen in the car wash.

i have never had a problem with my shaker scoop in the car wash. I don't use automatic car washes though, I like to wash my car myself. But, from what I can tell, the drain holes seem to work really well, filter box has never became wet that I could tell.

I take mine through brushless car washes all the time. I've never noticed anything out of the ordinary, and I nearly always open my hood to wipe the drops off of my stainless stuff in the engine compartment.

I believe the drains work just great!

Not N Dakota, but Wisconsin. We had no snow until last week.

The shaker looks good-congrats.
Did you do the mod to the bracket to raise the front of the scoop up? Looks like it.

Aircare,
I didn't mod the bracket. I noticed the part number for the kit is different for the '07. Maybe they put the mod in it already. The only things I did differently were to seal some edges inside the scoop and also made the fwd cut in the hood a 1/4" less than the template so as not to cut into the radius of the underside support.
